Not really sure how to describe what I'm looking for but my friend's 3 favourite books are Mohammed Maguire by Colin Bateman, The Voids by Ryan O'Connor and A Ton of Malice by Barry McKinley.
He talks about them every time books come up and frequently mentions how many other books he starts and stops because he's not getting on with them.
Just hoping someone has some ideas for something similar.
