Recently I read The Song of Achilles Novel by Madeline Miller. It made me cry like a parent who has lost a thousand children. It broke my heart into pieces. I am an emotional person, but I have never felt this way before.

Goodbye Mr. Chips, by James Hilton. And Heidi. Both books concern losing those whom we love.
Ancient promises by Jaishree Misra. It’s a fairly simple plot but the inner turmoil of the MC is so brilliantly written imo. I remember reading it in the library trying to hide my tears.
