Epic Fantasy book with female ensemble cast

Please no wheel of time, redrising or brandosando.

Looking for epic fantasy for a friend. But he comes from gacha and jrpg genre where there's big female cast. He read a fantasy book lately but wanted one with more women characters. At least three major characters who aren't just mothers or wives, but leading characters.

Suggestions?
No YA. And no sexualized content. He likes female characters but he's not a full blown gooner. He loves edelgard from fire emblem for example and is uncomfortable with horny stuff.
