I loved the Mists of Avalon. I loved Harry Potter as a young adult. I don’t read as much as I’d like for fiction, mostly non-fic self-help stuff. For fiction, I’ve found I long for Fantasy novels that have a lot of magic and a little romance. I love books set in medieval or arthurian times. Witchy woman tales really grasp me. I’d love some help with finding more fiction to read!

House of roots and ruin. I couldn’t put it down at it got me out of my reading slump
This might be a niche choice as it’s YA but if you like Arthurian stuff I think you’ll really enjoy Silver in the Bone by Alexandra Bracken.
Circe by Madeline Miller is a great witchy novel.
For witchy novels try Paula Brackston.
The Bonds that Tie series by J. Bree is so good! It is set in present time, but it’s so good for fantasy and world building. It’s a rh omegaverse series and everyone has powers. It’s set in college where they can train to be in all different areas of government or other things. It’s so good!
Try the Wildwood series by Colin Meloy.
*The Once and Future Witches* by Alix E Harrow
For a blend of myth and reality, ‘American Gods’ by Neil Gaiman is a book I find myself recommending time and again. Gaiman’s tale explores the gods of old myths and their struggle to survive in modern America, a place of new gods like technology and media.
