He loves aliens, time travel, and history. Some books he has recently enjoyed:
11/22/63 by Stephen King (well all SK books)
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Restaurant at the end of the universe
Time and Again by Jack Finney
The Devil all the Time by Pollock
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
On his to read list but on long holds on Libby:
Proof of Heaven by Eban Alexander
Seveneves
Hyperion by Dan Simmons
From time to time by Jack Finney
Bonus if there is a audio version! I would love to give him a decent list!

Stories of Your Life and Others by Ted Chiang
Michael Crichton’s **Timeline**. A group of grad students go back to 14th century France to investigate a mystery while another group stays in the present to assist/protect them.
Although much of the story takes place in the past, the time travelers’ interaction with people in the past is contentious. The brutality of life back then is depicted.
