I’m honestly not sure what im looking for at this point, I just need some psychological, paranoia, paranormal, horror that makes you go what the fuck. You know that scene in Sinister with the lawnmower? That’s kind of the vibe I’m looking for.
I just finished Hell House by Richard Matheson, and loved it. I’ve always had a soft spot for Stephen King and H.P. Lovecraft, I’m just struggling to narrow down what I’m looking for.
If there are any recommendations for some vaguely paranormal psychological mindfuck, I would absolutely love to hear them. I’m not opposed to gore, but it needs to have a purpose, ya know?
