Right now I’m working on writing a story idea that contains themes around life altering ideas and Metamorphosis of mind/body. I’m looking for some inspiring weird thrillers that hit different sort of like:

Absorbed by Kylie Whitehead
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated, no matter how long it unusual the writing style. I feel I’ve been stuck in pop fiction zone and only recently stumbled across the weird end of Bookstagram/Booktok to find these 3 (all of which I’m not completely done reading but LOVE)
