Any drama or thrillers you recommend? looking for new books to read.
I just finished The Housemaid by Freida McFadden and oh my gosh it was great! Its an easy read finished it in three days. Totally recommend. Looking for more books to read. Suggestions?
That’s a good one. Some recent thrillers I gave 5 star ratings:
Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak
Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera
The Reappearance of Rachel Price by Holly Jackson
The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides
No Exit by Taylor Adams is more of a survival thriller than a mystery but I loved it.
You can’t go wrong with anything by Gillian Flynn.
My favorite by Freida McFadden is Never Lie.

Hi! Here’s some suggestions of books I enjoyed:
• Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney: An estranged couple win a trip to Scotland and are trapped in during a snowstorm that hits the area.
• The Perfect Child by Lucinda Berry: A husband and wife adopt a child who was left abandoned at the hospital that the husband (I think it was the husband) works at. The problem they encounter is that there’s something wrong with the child they adopted. I don’t want to spoil anything but this was a good, easy page turner for me.
• The Appeal by Janice Hallett: This book has an interesting format, it’s all told through emails and texts. It’s about a theater troupe where one of the member’s grandchild is diagnosed with cancer and they set up a fundraiser for the child. The fundraiser, however, raises a lot of eyebrows in the community because it comes off as a sketchy cash grab and someone ends up murdered after questions are raised.
• A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series by Holly Jackson: a highschooler looks into a murder of a local high school senior for a final project that she’s doing for school. The book is more YA so it’s an easier read and at some points it gets kind of unrealistic IMO but I know a lot of other people enjoy this series.
The last two are more of a mystery genre but there were some tense parts.

I love Lisa Jewell! She has a lot of twisty domestic thrillers. My favourite are None of this is true, I found you, watching you, invisible girl, and the night she disappeared !
