Looking for some books that have themes around struggling with believing in religion or if we are just existing, not “created,” where the main characters and/or questions presented in the book are thought provoking as to whether we were created by a god or evolved or something to that affect.

Similar to Clark’s Rama series or 2001 series. Preferably some kind of sci-fi fiction!

    Thanks!

    1. A Million Tomorrows (Amazon) by Kris Middaugh.

There’s some grounded sci fi that deals with alternate timeline type stuff. It’s technically a romance but not spicy and gushy.

Not 100% what you mean but might be interesting. A doctor pushes the envelope of belief through science. Worth a look.
