I really liked the classism trouble of arcane season 1. Silco felt interesting because he genuinely cared about his own people and fighting for sovereighty while also being stubborn in compromise to Piltover due to genueine grievances. The overall classism dispute was fun to follow.
(spoilers for season 2) but after a few episodes into season 2 the focus shifts from classism to an outside third party bio-android threat, and the conflict of classism disparity felt sidelined until the very end where a lower class citizen got a seat at the council (which felt a bit like a footnote).
I'd like to read a book that follows the classism conflict through the end, where all parties are nuanced and there is no obvious evil big bad. Especially not one disconnected from the initial parties involved.
Suggestions?
